At the moment scramble is in an exploratory phase, in order to judge what features will be most useful and what will not survive this stage.
However, these things have already been decided on and are being activily tested and improved in the draft version:
- Sequence Viewer with editing capabilities (think IDE for nucleotide and peptide data)
- A query system hooking into the NCBI Datasets v2 API for data retrieval (scope unclear)
- A file/database system to keep local files organised. The current vision is aimed at combining the codon library with a rust datafusion database (columnar storage).
- Support for a vim-motion working style.
